As an Intern you will work in a fast-paced environment to initiate outbound calls to existing customers to review their current information, capture additional data and provide them with additional information on products and services we provide. You'll use computers and telephones extensively in your work. This job can be challenging, but if you thrive on overcoming obstacles and achieving goals, you will achieve success. We are looking for fast-paced and goal-oriented individuals to help us achieve results.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain accurate database information; capture and enter information into CRM tool (Salesforce).
Obtain or verify customer information, including address, phone number and email addresses.
Cold call, direct email, and perform other lead generation activities as directed.
Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with customers and/or for customers to attend webinars, events or other presentations.
Conduct client or market surveys in order to obtain information about potential customers.
RequirementsSkills & Requirements
Education: High school diploma; in college pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Communications or similar related fields.
Hours: Must be able to work 20-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential for this job.
Able to build rapport with customers before attempting to collect information or identify potential leads for sales; deal effectively with people who may be angry at receiving an unsolicited call.
Learning skills to acquire the product knowledge to present products effectively and answer customers’ questions accurately.
Must have knowledge of telephone and computer systems so they can use call center systems efficiently.
Ability to use a computer, phone and other office equipment as needed.
