We are currently looking for a Marketing Intern that enjoys variety and challenging work in a dynamic environment. We’re looking for someone who is driven, self-sufficient, and can ultimately increase sales activity. This is a hands-on role and opportunity to work with a growing and cutting-edge company.
Our Marketing internship runs during the summer for 12-week periods.
We are looking for interns who would truly value the experience while working with our company over monetary compensation. This is a paid internship. Compensation is determined upon the completion of tasks assigned to you throughout your internship, and will be dispersed at the end of your internship.
Responsibilities* Identifying trends in the technology sphere, and aligning them to our business
* Performing analysis of marketing and sales data
* Seeking and analyzing competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
* Providing support to social media/blog efforts
* Engaging with marketing team on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative campaigns
* Researching industry-specific sites (blogs, forums, etc) for product reviews, customer comments, and other relevant marketing information.
Requirements* Digital Native –
o An active user in the following social media outlets: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and various blog sites
o Comfortable speaking the language in these outlets
* Analytical –
o Able to track the results of your efforts using metrics
o Interested in judging and improving upon the success of your efforts
* Reach –
o Able to draw people into a conversation
o Leave a memorable impression upon those you meet
* Content –
o Able to create remarkable content (blogs, tweets, Facebook posts, etc.) naturally
* Previous SEO knowledge
* Knowledge of software and consultative selling is helpful but not required.
* Active pursuit of a marketing-related degree
* Able to come into the office routinely during normal working business hours
