Fonseca Martial Arts locations provide children and adults with the highest quality of martial arts instruction. FMA is seeking an intern to promote the FMA brand and increase student attendance at classes and events. Located in Evanston, the internship will give the successful candidate the opportunity to be involved with every aspect of FMA’s marketing and public relations department. The intern will assist with website maintenance and updates. The intern will also assist in the creations of print advertisements, online advertisement, and social media marketing.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and enrolled in your sophomore, junior or senior year at an accredited college or university. Graduates welcomed.
- Superior oral and written communications skills.
- Effective organizational skills for managing multiple tasks.
Responsibilities- Assist with content management on www.FonsecaMartialArts.com
- Implement and develop marketing promotional ideas for FMA
- Social Media building including S.E.O.
- Website updates
- Brand promotions
- Customer recruitment for classes and events
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or journalism preferred but not necessary.
Knowledge about sports and particularly the martial arts community in the United States is preferred but not necessary.
