DescriptionFreshwater Digital Media Partners is looking for a qualified intern to join our marketing/advertising team. Our company produces quality work for major companies around the United States, and seeks an intern who can participate in various stages of digital and online marketing.
This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing.
ResponsibilitiesYour primary, day-to-day function will be a go between, connecting account management, production, and business management teams on all issues relating to client networks. You will be assisting the internal production process for campaign materials from concept through release. You will also be setting up deadline schedules. You will be monitoring and checking progress on multiple projects and communicating with the teams. Upon completion you will be assisting in the trafficking of the content materials to digital signage networks, as well as confirming campaign elements have been received and run correctly.
The internship entails loading the content onto the digital signage network in the right format in order to ensure effectiveness, and then generate reports. Marketing interns work closely with account managers ensuring content is delivered to networks to the clients / agencies satisfaction. They will need to have strong attention to detail and the ability to assess and prioritize all the incoming information, telephone calls and requests in order to meet deadlines.
As the marketing intern you will learn to accurately schedule the content and generate data analyzing the effectiveness of each network. The constant adding and changing of content makes for a dynamic fast paced environment. The marketing intern is responsible for checking this content meets quality standards. You will be learning how to configure, monitor, analyze, and optimize networks. The role is a balance of utilizing emerging technology, applying marketing strategies, and providing a high level of customer service.
You will also be assisting but not limited to preparing presentations, enter contact information into contact management systems, provide support to social media efforts and execution of trade shows.
Requirements• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to react quickly to fast changing situations and be able to cope under pressure
• Strong organizational skills with particular attention for detail with strict and challenging deadlines
• Recently graduated or currently majoring in Marketing, Sales, Advertising
• Be able to work independently and also as part of a team in a fast paced, rapidly-changing environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft, Outlook, Excel and Word
