Are you studying Marketing? Do you want the chance to not only implement what you’re learning, but also acquire new skills while being a part of a close-knit and dynamic team?

Language Connections is a Boston-based, multi-lingual translation agency. We provide translation and interpreting support for top names, including Harvard, MIT and Procter & Gamble, for various projects and international conferences. We are constantly involved with exciting language-related events both nationwide and globally.

Currently our team is seeking an intern to help us with marketing our services. A prospective intern would have the ability to learn about the language services industry, while gaining knowledge and practical experience in marketing techniques. These techniques include managing blogs and website content through content management systems such as Wordpress, working with customer relationship management systems including SalesForce and Constant Contact, and implementing innovative marketing methods utilizing social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Yelp.

An intern with Language Connections is given much more responsibility than at most other organizations. We value the input of every member of our team, and as an intern you will be fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of our company. This will allow you to have a truly encompassing experience of what it is like to market for a small business. Currently the position is unpaid, but in the future it may lead to a full time offer for the right individual.

Prospective interns should be willing to commit to at least a three month period, with flexible scheduling between 20 and 40 hours a week.

Some of the attributes we are looking for:
• Good organizational skills
• A hard working and self-motivated attitude
• A strong sense of accountability
