Position: 3 Full-time, Unpaid
DescriptionThe Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, business development, and public relations plans. This will be accomplished through developing, maintaining and expanding marketing channels/methodologies to the professional community, healthcare professionals, senior industry and the public at large.
Compensation: Unpaid Internship. Will work with candidate to provide academic credit if applicable.
ResponsibilitiesServe as the administrative support partner to project teams across a wide variety of marketing projects .
Support client review process of all project materials; ensure materials are submitted in accordance to the client’s internal policy and timelines are adhered to
Assist team members with requests, project management and administrative tasks
Assist with content writing for the website, blog, social media and sales and marketing collateral.
Work with Marketing Team in developing trade media and PR plans.
Assist with client projects.
Attend meetings with team members to learn and understand the business and projects.
Conduct market research, as needed.
Take on additional duties and responsibilities, as needed.
Social Media Management
Assisting with event, marketing, and social media editorial calendars
RequirementsHigh sense of urgency and self motivation.
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow- up skills.
Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge and experience with social media platforms and Wordpress.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn other software programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work well under pressure.
