Company Description: ICAST (International Center for Appropriate & Sustainable Technology) is a Colorado nonprofit organization that works to make housing more affordable, sustainable, and profitable by providing smart energy and water solutions. Our projects invest in local economies, reduce resource waste, and function in a way that builds local capacity.

Position Overview: The Marketing Intern will work directly with our Marketing Coordinator on fundraising strategy, collateral creation, social media, donor maintenance strategy, as well as supporting ICAST’s overall marketing initiatives, and our three other programs: Resource Smart, Project Sunlight, and Triple Bottom Line Foundation.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Campaign management support
• Google AdWords management
• Social media content creation
• Management of multiple social media pages, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
• Help to develop and refine current marketing strategy
• Target market research and list creation

Requirements

Desired Qualifications:
• Flexible problem solver
• Strong communication skills
• Competency with social media platforms
• Organized and attentive to detail
• Creative and interested in marketing strategy
• Adobe Suite experience is a plus

Requirements:
• Marketing, communications, business major/minor or related field of study
• Must be a current undergraduate student or recent graduate (in the last 6 months)
• Passionate about environmental, social, or nonprofit work
• Strong computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Must be a Colorado Resident
