Description

Hispanic Entertainment Marketing firm seeks detail oriented interns for the publicity and promotions departments for the Spring. We're a very successful entertainment marketing firm working on film, TV and corporate campaigns. This is a great opportunity for a go getter to hit the ground running and learn the ins and outs of an entertainment property debut.


Responsibilities


Description:

Connect and engage with your local Latino community; targeted groups will include:

Business Organizations/Associations
Hispanic hotspots/areas with high-Hispanic demographics o Spanish language media outlets
Nightlife
Calendar of events
Occasional weekend work involving premieres, promotional screenings, special events and talent handling.

Assist in securing full attendance at promotional and word-of-mouth screenings.

Assist in researching promotional reports, charts, photo recaps, screening reports and word of mouth reports.

Assist in pitching and creating radio, print, television, online, retail and college promotions.

Assist in creating press lists, pitching press features, reviews, scheduling phone interviews, and servicing press materials.

Assist in compiling demographic research and word of mouth databases.

Assist with word-of-mouth promotions, special events and stunts.

Create and maintain master contact charts, databases, screening calendar.

Assist with daily maintenance of press databases and promotional inventory.

Assume leadership in grassroots marketing, flyering, supervising street team efforts, trailer checks and store checks.


Requirements

Position requirements: No experience is necessary, but an interest in learning the ins and outs of marketing, promotions and/or publicity is certainly necessary. Marketing, Communications, Media, Film or Business related majors are preferred, but not required. Conversational Spanish required. Additionally, ideal candidates possess excellent communication skills and should be: ready to learn, outgoing and enthusiastic, computer literate, punctual and responsible.

Must receive college credit.
