DescriptionTruShield is a global cyber security company providing concierge managed security services to medium-sized businesses. We concentrate on helping our clients grow their business while providing them the peace of mind in a world where cyber security concerns are becoming more and more relevant.
A marketing intern will be responsible for helping with the day-to-day marketing operations at TruShield, while learning more about how a marketing department functions. They will assist on creating campaigns, putting together events, and crafting the overall marketing strategy for the company.
ResponsibilitiesLead Nurturing Campaigns
Interns will learn how to develop a full lead nurturing campaign, from visitor to customer including:
Coming up with offers and content for the website
Developing CTAs, Landing Pages, and Thank-You Pages
Developing a conversion path complete with different pieces of content for each stage of the buyer’s journey
Developing email campaigns to nurture leads through the funnel
Developing social media campaigns as needed
How and when to transition a lead over to sales
How to continue to follow up with a lead even after they have been handed off to sales and/or become a customer
Interns will learn how to execute a marketing event, either a webinar or live event, from start to finish, including:
Developing the idea for the event
Mapping out the outline for the event
Creating the schedule of the event
Coordinating with vendors and/or partners
Developing and executing email campaigns to promote the event
Developing and executing social media campaigns to promote the event
How to conduct follow-up after the event
What to do with leads gained from the event including developing lead nurturing campaigns for them
How to use the event as marketing collateral in the future
RequirementsIntern must be a current student of a college or university.
Intern must be majoring in Marketing or a related field.
Intern must be a Junior or Senior in college.
Intern must send in a resume along with a cover letter and/or writing sample.
