This position is an attempt to provide students with a flexible internship opportunity that they cannot achieve because of school work and extracurricular obligations.

This is a competitive position. There are 2 position available.

Marketing consultant internship for a Los Angeles based consulting group.
This is a paid position but is results based. Interns unable to meet weekly requirements (Journals, appointment quotas, market research quotas) will be terminated.
This intern will be taught B2B sales tactics and marketing strategies by team leaders.
Interns will use this knowledge to acquire new sales leads for the business.
Interns will spend time logging their experiences in a journal format every week (to be submitted online).

We are hoping to develop interns to become full time salary based employees by the end of the internship.

Responsibilities

- Create signage, newsletters, email campaigns, online promotions, etc.
- Provide support to social media efforts to target new audiences.
- Assist with trade shows and special events to promote company and increase attendance.
- Research and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials.
- Collaborate on team presentations for management and clients.
- Making Sales Calls
- Setting Appointments for branch manager

Requirements

- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Fashion Merchandising, or Sales
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Possess creativity, flexibility, variety, and growth potential.
- Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
- Should be comfortable with constructive criticism and rejection
