Description

Sagely is a company that was created to alleviate the symptoms of pain through familiar, safe, and accessible CBD products. We distinguish ourselves through a thoughtfully crafted brand that inspires trust and confidence. Our products will be available via e-commerce, speciality boutiques, physical therapists and high end natural food stores

Role description
Sagely is seeking an MBA intern with a passion for helping people, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, and of course our concept!

Responsibilities include:
Distribution channel strategy and development
Go-to-market strategy
Attend all brand creation meetings
Pricing optimization (as it relates to market research)
Market size research (top down and bottoms up)
Competitor research
Business model assumptions

This is an unpaid, ten-week academic internship but it is eligible for independent study (either two or four course credits) and you will also have the benefit of working closely with both founders and the illustrious and amazing Professor Aimee Drolet Rossi. About us
Kerrigan Hanna, Co-founder and CMO
Kerrigan spent five years at UBS Securities, where she held a variety of roles including hedge fund financing sales and capital introduction, in which she worked with hedge fund marketers to effectively market to West Coast investors. Her passion for branding led her to pursue work at Wolfgang Puck and Taco Bell, where she executed marketing campaigns. Kerrigan has her BA from Duke University and her MBA from UCLA Anderson (‘15).

Kaley Lillibridge, Co-founder and CFO/COO
Kaley spent five years at J.P. Morgan in Chicago and London, where she worked in Leveraged Finance, M&A, Capital Markets and Global Corporate Banking. Her entrepreneurial family roots inspired her to pursue a rapidly growing restaurant startup, LYFE Kitchen, in Los Angeles where she was heavily involved in strategic initiatives and operations as well as opened 10 stores across the U.S. Kaley has her BA from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business.

Responsibilities

- Create signage, newsletters, email campaigns, online promotions, etc.
- Provide support to social media efforts to target new audiences.
- Assist with trade shows and special events to promote company and increase attendance.
- Research and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials.
- Collaborate on team presentations for management and clients.

Requirements

- Ideally pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, not not necessary
- Aptitude for social media
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Possess creativity, flexibility, variety, and growth potential.
- Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
