DescriptionThis marketing intern will support the business team and the entire organization as a whole. In any given day, you could be writing a blog post to providing leads to the sales team, to helping the engineers with quality assurance. If you are energized and still figuring out what kind of work you want to do, this is a great opportunity to try out a bit of everything.
Our interns learn a lot and bring great value to the company. We do not hire interns for the sake of having them or fitting a certain image. That means there’s no busy work and no wasted time. Everything we ask of you will be meaningful and directly contribute to both the company’s progress and your own learning. That said, you will be more likely to enjoy your work if the world of PPC/Search Marketing is already interesting to you.
One of the biggest perks of this internship is you’ll be able to define your role as you see fit, and in the direction that interests you. This is a fast-paced and quickly growing business, so there will always be more work to do. All you have to do is ask, and you’ll get opportunities to help with new tasks and projects, coming from various people. You won’t have to worry about not having enough work to do. Trust us, we’ll keep you busy.
By the end of your internship, you’ll have gained invaluable experience in several areas of business and made connections with some of the brightest minds in AdTech. What else could you ask for?
ResponsibilitiesIf you want comfort and predictability, this is not place for you. But if you want to expand your skill range and are open to taking on new tasks, then continue reading.
Accountability is important in this role. When you are given a task or project, you take ownership of it. This means it is your responsibility to ensure it is completed. This doesn’t mean you can’t ask questions or ask for help. In fact, we heavily encourage you to. It just means you are in charge of getting the job done. If that intimidates you, then this may not be a good fit for you.
If you are motivated by the credit received from a job well done, then we’re the place for you.
You do not need to have prior experience in this field, but we expect you to be tech-savvy, and to come in willing to learn new things as your contributions grow and change.
- Prepare a weekly blog post
- Format blog posts in WordPress
- Manage the company’s social media handles
- Own the syndication process for all content produced on the company blog
- Upload sales-ready leads to database systems such as Salesforce, MailChimp, HubSpot, and Intercom
- Market research and profiling of prospect lists
- Register prospects for product demos

RequirementsThis is an unpaid internship, college credit must be received
Flexible schedule predetermined with your manager
You may work remote up to 2 days per week
Vacations and other out of office commitments must be approved by your manager at least 24 hours in advance
Must be available to work in the SF office at least 3 days per week (half days are OK)
Must be available to commit 20+ hours per week for a 3+ month commitment
