Cliff Young Ltd. maintains an on-going internship program throughout the year for students and alumni looking for hands-on industry experience in the interior design and furniture industry. As part of our Tribute Mentorship Program, our internships are giving students a well rounded exposure through all major aspects of design work and business practices.
Marketing students become familiar with office logistics, material samples, catalogs, pricelists, create well designed tear-sheets, participate in photoshoots and prepare graphics for the company advertising and marketing materials. Students have the chance to proactively participate in our day-to-day operations and offer suggestions and creative solutions in each department.
To better prepare them for positions within the design and manufacturing industry, students also are involved in office administration and office management tasks and most importantly in our design library and resources department, which gives them exposure to the latest product and materials in our industry.
The CYL internships are school credit/voluntary positions (unpaid, although our students do receive a $10/day stipend for travel/lunch) and our interns have a chance to obtain experience and references from any / all departments they work in, including interior design, furniture design, library, project management, marketing and sales. In addition, we like to ensure you have gained a well-rounded, significant amount of experience while with Cliff Young Ltd. Depending on individual school requirements, our usual commitment is 280 hours for completion of all internships.

Our internships are available full time or part-time, please email your resume.
