DescriptionReveille’s former Head of Brand Development Chad Bennett started Populus Brands, an innovative brand-building company in order to drive franchise growth, incremental revenue and consumer engagement for clients. The company forms strategic partnerships between content creators, sponsors, licensors, manufacturers, retailers and marketers to build lifestyle and entertainment brands derived from and driven by show content.
For content creators, Populus Brands actively builds lifestyle brands, create strategic sponsorships and promotional partnerships and develop consumer products directly from TV, digital and entertainment properties. The company also represents and works with advertisers, manufacturers, retailers and distributors to immerse them into those properties, allowing them to reach their consumers when they are most engaged. The ultimate goal is to strategically connect all parties directly to content.
ResponsibilitiesInterns will have the opportunity to learn the entertainment marketing world from its top integration consultants, while being intimately involved creatively with top staff.
Some duties will include industry research, client brand strategy and implementation, client scheduling and other status reports, lead generation, as well as general clerical work. After the internship, Populus Interns will walk away with knowledge and direct experience handling licensing, sponsorships, and the entire scope of integration packaging – and all in the context of television and television production.
