The dual mission of our company is to:
1. Help businesses and organizations of all sizes to create successful, profitable, and easy-to-manage internship programs by recruiting, screening, intern-viewing, and placing interns.
2. Create exciting, high-level, career-building internship opportunities for interns.
(We also provide consulting and public speaking services.)

Marketing Promotions Specialist

Location:
This internship is virtual. You will work from home (or school, or Starbucks, or the library…or wherever). You can work anywhere as long as you have reliable internet connection and a quiet area for Skype meetings.

Any work that is not confidential can be added to your professional portfolio. You will directly with the video and other creative teams. You will also have frequent input and communications with the Founder of our company and get the inside, behind-the-scenes view of a start-up, virtual, national/international company. You will have access to a variety of training materials on sales, marketing, internship program management, and other topics, worth thousands of dollars. Successful interns will receive a top-notch letter of recommendation and referrals to important business and employment contacts. In addition, we will gladly help you arrange for academic credit.

Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship, but the experience is priceless!

Responsibilities

Maintain and update the company’s marketing calendar and lead the weekly Marketing Promotions/ collaboration meetings; brainstorm and implement innovative marketing/ promotion strategies; work closely with the Social Media, Blogging, Newsletter, Live Video Stream and Video teams and act as the primary promoter of all things SuperInterns.com! You do not need to be an expert, but rather have a thirst for learning about SuperInterns.com and growing as a Marketing Promoter!

Requirements

Ideal Candidate:
This is a learning environment; we don't expect you to know everything! Applicants with prior educational and/or work experience in marketing/sales, are preferred, but WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and willing to learn. If you want to be a business developer or marketing specialist someday, this internship will give you that experience!

Students and NON-STUDENTS of any age (over 18) and those transitioning into (or building upon) a marketing, sales, and/or business development career are welcome to apply.

Equipment:
You should have reliable access to an Internet connection, your own computer, Skype, and phone.

Timeline/Time Commitment:
Immediately! Approximately 10 hours a week for 20 weeks; we are flexible and your internship is negotiable. We will work with you.

Skills and abilities:
Ability or willingness to network (online); prior education or experience in business development, marketing, or sales is desirable.; organized, detail-oriented, OUTGOING, DRIVEN, DEPENDABLE, TENACIOUS, people skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills; adaptable to changes in projects and priorities, comfort and proficiency with email, the Internet, and learning user-friendly software; able to multi-task and work independently; punctual, and able to attend Skype meetings once or twice a week (we will work with your schedule), and able to attend at least 10 SuperInterns.com Team Meetings.
