Description

The Online Marketing Intern will work on day-to-day marketing activities related to the online marketing programs. The intern will also assist the Director with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed. During the internship, the intern will learn the fundamentals of online marketing while developing his/ her quantitative and critical thinking skills. There will be a strong focus on email marketing and online advertising in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

Market articles on social media
Create press releases
Reach out to companies
Form brininess partnerships
Create collaborations with other online publications.
Backup/assist in the production process on various management reports and materials. As required, editing, printing, binding and providing quality control of the final copies.

Prepare weekly calendar and status updates of marketing/networking events.

Requirements

Pursuing degree in Marketing

Strong research skills

Detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. SharePoint is a plus.

Ability and desire to build and maintain strong relationships with team

Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Ability to effectively manage/coordinate simultaneous projects, and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with sound judgment

Resourceful, motivated, efficient, sense of urgency, pro-active and customer service oriented

Ability to protect confidential and proprietary information of the firm
