Yondster is an energetic and innovating start-up, located in New York City and Denver, Colorado.

We are comprised of experienced professionals with a wealth of knowledge in many facets of business and technology. We offer our service to young adults, employers, educators and non-profits free of charge.

Yondster is looking for interns to participate in its grassroots, most exciting and critical stage of development! We are seeking marketing interns that will help lead the charge in getting the message of yondster.com out to the masses! You will be exposed to “startup culture”, with a learning environment that provides the opportunity to be creative and help build what’s a revolution in youth employment


Duties:

• Build interpersonal, professional relationship skills with the Yondster team and fellow interns
• Help create marketing campaigns with the goal of increasing brand awareness and user acquisition for Yondster
• Plan, organize, and execute marketing and community development programs while a focus on increasing Yondster’s user base.
• Act as the point person for outside, inside and partner development teams.
• Assist in creating programs that drive brand loyalty.
• Attend job fairs and networking events to market yondster.com
• Develop effective conversion strategies to accelerate user adoption.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
• Develop a deep understanding of product and value proposition.
• Assist in defining which marketing segments help brand yondster.com
• Recognize different channels of advertising that yondster.com can brand and coordinate with to gain more users.
• Operate in a fun work setting, with certain levels of autonomy, while gaining experience with project management strategies.
• Must be available to work 10 hours a week, which includes 2 to 3 hours each Saturday in the office. This will be a part time 10 week program.


Qualifications:

• Customer facing experience
• Social media savvy
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Self Starter
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn software applications
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Please note this is an unpaid internship. There will be plenty of perks, ability to earn college credits, earn shares in Yondster and possible future employment.

Requirements

College student preferred. Course focus in business, sales, communications, or marketing.
Design skills a plus but not necessary.
