Description

LEL International is a dealer in used industrial equipment of all types. Our company is headquartered in Duncan, South Carolina, with lay-down yards in Texas, Utah, North Carolina, and Arizona. We provide services throughout the United States and internationally, approaching every business relationship with knowledge, experience, courtesy, and an insistence on integrity.

The Marketing/Business Development internship is geared towards individuals pursing Marketing and/or Business Administration degrees. Interns with LEL International will participate in nearly all Marketing/Business Development activities, including but not limited to: market research, social media management, order processing, customer relations, inventory development, online customer outreach, and much more.

The intention of this internship is to provide participants a firsthand view into our short- and long-term operations, as well as a global understanding of various industries and how they operate.
“Graduates” of the program will be able to operate confidently in professional settings, understand holistic business practices, and will have an extensive knowledge of various industries and how they operate.

Responsibilities

- Consistently fulfill research quotas, and deftly manage leads
- Assist in managing the company’s social media presence
- Process all incoming leads and assign tasks as needed
- Participating in inventory management
- Maintain online equipment listings
- Adhere to the corporate culture
- Operate within the boundaries of LEL’s mission statement

Requirements

- Actively pursuing Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
- Balance multiple assignments
- Complete tasks creatively
- Strong communication skills (verbal and writing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, and Excel)
- Big-Picture mentality
- Positive attitude
- Desire to grow
- Ability to follow directives
