Based in Los Angeles, Pearlman Acting Academy is one of the world’s top acting schools, and rapidly growing. We work with actors from celebrity to working professional, musicians, directors, producers, United Nations speeches, TED talk speakers, politicians, CEO’s, and other high-level entertainment industry members to help them effect maximum change in their audiences, launch their careers, and create Oscar and Grammy-winning performances. 

Pearlman Acting Academy:
Joseph Pearlman is a celebrity acting coach, director, producer, working with Hollywood’s top actors, musicians, comedians, etc. He works with clients like Zooey Deschanel, Skylar Grey (5-time Grammy nominee with Rihanna & Eminem), Sherri Shepherd (30 Rock), Julian Sands (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Michael Welch (The Twilight Saga), etc.. and also coaches presenters for all the major award ceremonies including the Oscars, Grammys, and Emmys. In addition to his work with actors, Joseph helps politicians, executives, lawyers, CEOs, and other industry leaders develop charismatic confidence to effect maximum change in their audiences. 

Joseph was recently voted L.A.’s favorite acting coach in Backstage’s Readers’ Choice Awards. Pearlman Acting Academy is one of the world's top acting studios, and rapidly growing. This position will include exposure to high-level industry professionals. Pearlman Acting Academy is based in Los Angeles but is now bi-coastal with regular workshops in New York City.

Responsibilities


The Marketing Intern will be assisting in the growing and running of all social media platforms, as well as in the creation of newsletters that reach and connect with thousands of film and television industry professionals around the world. They will also help in researching and implementing new & innovative growth opportunities. Other responsibilities include occasional email correspondence, occasional client booking and billing, as well as helping to define the look and feel of one of the industry's most exciting acting schools. This position will include exposure to high-level industry professionals and world leaders.

Requirements


Strong marketing skills (social media marketing, PR-style writing, etc.)

Excellent organizational/time management skills

Excellent communication and writing skills

Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite

Must be very social media savvy

Prompt and responsible

Reliable transportation

Must be able to receive school credit for this internship

Ability to commit anywhere from 8 to 16 hours per week

*Knowledge in Photoshop, InDesign, Mail Chimp, Constant Contact is a plus!
