MostPeople.co is a startup media company for those who don’t take kindly to the status-quo. Using creative technology we provide a curated experience like no other. From random websites to out-there news stories. If it’s quirky, eye-opening, or just something you’d never see otherwise, there’s a good chance you might find it in your inbox once a week.





THE TEAM:



You will be working directly with a team that has 10 years of combined experience creating, marketing, growing, and taking companies from 0 to over 20 million in revenue.

OPPORTUNITY & REQUIREMENTS:

Currently at 5,000 dedicated readers, we are growing fast and are looking for a Growth Hacking Intern to help us get to the next level. This is not a “fetch my coffee” internship. If you are just looking to sit at a desk doing mundane tasks day in and out and make some side money, this internship is not for you.

This for someone that wants to learn how to take a company from 5,000 subscribers to 5,000,000. This is for someone that is part hustler, part creative, part sponge (you will absorb a lot, fast).

You will learn:
Strategy: The in’s and out’s of marketing, transmedia cross platform integration, and business growth strategy.

Paid Acquisition: Google AdWords; Facebook ads; display ads; mobile ads, TV, affiliate marketing

Content Marketing: Leveraging blog posts, infographics, and viral videos to increase brand awareness and site traffic and how to communicate across different platforms.

Sales: While you will not be in a sales position, marketing & sales is a marriage that many companies get wrong. You will learn how use leverage sales team to gain valuable insights to create strategies.

A/B testing and Analytics: Theories are great, results are better. You will learn how to test any theory, run any experiment, and get the answers to any question quickly and effectively to improve acquisition and conversion funnels.

E-mail Marketing: If you believe a growth hacker’s job is not just to increase new users/customers but also to engage them or encourage them to spend more money, then e-mail marketing is a significant part of their arsenal.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Lean to effectively build scalable infrastructure that applies to tens of thousands or millions of pages.

Viral Acquisition: Leveraging built-in product features to encourage existing users to share your product with new users.

Responsibilities

No two days will be exactly the same. From helping the team creating a digital strategy, to going out collecting consumer info, to posting to social media, to handling different partnerships, you will get a chance to do it all.
