Description

Dote Shopping (http://www.doteshopping.com/) is revolutionizing mobile shopping, and we need some help.

We make a really cool iOS shopping app that lets our users shop all the best brands, like Brandy Melville, American Eagle, Anthropologie, Jcrew, Gap, and like 40 more, all in one app. People love it. We have a 5-star rating on the App store, and our users rave about Dote to their friends.
But because so many people love it, and are buying lots of stuff through the app, we need help making sure they have a delightful experience.

So we are hiring Merchandising Operations Interns to help give our wonderful customers a loving experience as we scale our revenue operations.

Inevitably there are issues that arise with orders, returns, customer service, and more. And you can help us with that, while learning about startups, mobile commerce, and customer success.

Interns will report to the head of Customer Success (who is awesome) and work out of our downtown San Francisco office. Role is on a part-time basis (flexible hours but expecting a minimum of 15-20 hours/wk). Start date as early as January (now).

Dote is based in downtown San Francisco and conveniently located near many transportation options.

Requirements

We would love you to exhibit the following characteristics:
> You are a current undergrad / recent grad already locally based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
> You are detail oriented and computer savvy (Microsoft Excel, internet browsing, Zendesk a plus); you will be working on order management and other fiddly workflows that require caring attention to detail.
> You love to shop. Love, love, love it. We make an awesome shopping app. You should love shopping for clothes and accessories at major retail brands. Bonus points if you've already bought something on Dote.
> You are excited about the retail industry and creating the ultimate customer experience.
> You're interested in learning about how a tech startup works. We're an honest-to-goodness startup! But not weird like the ones on HBO's Silicon Valley.
> Prior customer service experience a plus.
> Compensation commensurate with experience.
