For over 25 years, Jackie Wildau, founder of the All-in-Play (formerly Wildau Method TM and Pastiche Inc., has been devoted to utilizing theater-based techniques and concepts in the design and implementation of strategies for marketing campaigns, live presentations, as well as training for corporations, non-profits, and educational institutions. Since 2013, through a partnership with the New York Early Childhood Professional Development Institute at CUNY, Jackie Wildau and her team, have trained early childhood educators throughout NYC in The All-in-Play. Designed by Wildau, this Method incorporates theater concepts and techniques to structure and support children's active learning. It is an imaginative approach to facilitating curriculum and staff development in early childhood classrooms. Wildau's mission is to grow the depth, breadth and reach of this educational work throughout the US as well as abroad.
You will be on the ground floor of an innovative educational enterprise that uses theater arts to make powerful educational play experiences that are transformative for young students—and their teachers.
We are seeking a student intern who will be paid. This articulate individual will help identify potential clients and then will market our proven method for raising the bar of early childhood education. Developed under the CUNY umbrella, and funded by the NYC City Council discretionary funds for the past 2 years, (funding doubled in the second year). The program is now being expanded---we aim to reach 36 preschools in 2015-2016 school year and double that in the following year.
ResponsibilitiesOur intern will work 15 hours per week for $200 per week and $25 commission will be given for each successful meeting scheduled which results in an engagement.
The job tasks include:
1. Researching and identifying the correct contact in 300 pre-schools
2. Contacting that person and setting up meetings with our founder
3. Managing the contact list on a database or Excel
4. Follow up emails and phone calls as needed
