The online marketing intern will work on day-to-day marketing activities related to the online marketing programs. The intern will also assist the online strategy and marketing team with online content writing, reporting, and analysis as needed. During the internship the intern will learn the basics about online marketing with a focus on Lead Assigning and Lead Scoring, Email Marketing, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Event Marketing (and Tradeshows), Web Marketing, and Inbound Marketing in a B2B environment. The intern will also learn the fundamentals of business intelligence.
Responsibilities- Work with the Marketing team to efficiently grow the online marketing channel thru paid search, inbound, and SEO
- Assist in monitoring, tracking and analyzing paid search performance and making necessary adjustments to maximize ROI
- Research competitors and best practices in order to write creative briefs to develop new copy and landing page tests for all channels. A/B test thru the use of Optimizely
- Support marketing team in managing the website (via HubSpot) and measuring success (ROI) of the campaigns
- Contribute to the growth of SEO by finding link building opportunities, analyzing user behavior and preparing monthly reporting (thru the use of MOZ)
- Keep up with industry technology and news
- Work with the Marketing team on other initiatives as needed.

RequirementsDesired Skills and Experience
- College degree
Interested in learning and applying multiple online marketing strategies;
Some experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HTML;
Experience in running data reports, creating dashboards, charts, and graphs;
Team-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to think creatively and analytically;
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail;
Primarily working toward a degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
