Description

Teens What's The Rush, Inc is a Non profit organization that works with the community by teaching teens and youth how to avoid destructive decisions through the Arts. This year we are dedicated to Domestic Violence awareness with a new stage production. We are looking for a strong individual that is able to speak to the public about the organization and more specifically the stage production. Being able to open doors to executives to gain support and sponsorship as well as gain momentum for all events.
Fully support company’s PR strategy and execute it in different phases
Create and curate engaging content
Communicate and build relationships with current or prospect clients
Effectively utilize company’s social media and blogs
Create and distribute press releases
Assist in administrative duties
Build and update media lists and databases
Schedule, coordinate and attend various events

Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and contributing to public relations and marketing activities
- Interact with internal departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising; monitoring account activities; and managing production activities
- Coordinate with news media as assigned, in development of appropriate news stories
- Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records
Fully support company’s PR strategy and execute it in different phases
Create and curate engaging content
Communicate and build relationships with current or prospect clients
Effectively utilize company’s social media and blogs
Create and distribute press releases
Assist in administrative duties
Build and update media lists and databases
Schedule, coordinate and attend various events

Requirements

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inform and entertain via written, oral and visual media.
- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
- An innovative self-starter with problem solving skills, creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic.
