Description

OUT FRONT, the largest and oldest LGBT publication in the Mountain West, is eager to train self-motivated, creative, detail-oriented sales and marketing interns. If you’ve got what it takes to be your own CEO — in other words, if you’re a self-starting, organized, proactive problem solver who doesn’t need a micromanager to get things done — feel free to apply!

You’ll be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with favorable contacts and advertisers. Experience with e-commerce, social networking, online marketing, and database management puts you at the front of the line, but if you’re not familiar with these aspects, we’ll train you. Once you’re here, we’ll show you how to maintain a wide variety of industry techniques that will boost your post-collegiate prospects for a sales and marketing career.

Unlike “those guys,” we compensate for successful performances with lunches + dinners out on the town. (Plus, you get to hang with the team, and we’re pretty awesome.)

Responsibilities

Beyond that, we’ll show you:
Cold-calling techniques with proven success
Proficiency in CRM software and Google apps
How to sell in a highly competitive industry
How to meet and exceed sales goals
How to build a successful track record of new business development
How the sales process/cycle works
How market trends within our niche works

Requirements

Honestly speaking, candidates should at least possess exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
