Description

We are looking for an intern to come in and help us out with managing our social media pages, as well as help us out with our blog articles. We are a healthcare IT company that offers mobile and cloud solutions to physician groups, hospitals, and billing companies. Our products include a mobile charge capture that helps the physician keep track of patient procedures, a secure texting application to help groups’ communication in a HIPAA compliant manner, and a free medical code search application. These are currently high-demand items in the medical industry, with the number of competitors rising every day. We hope to become one of the go-to spots for the latest healthcare news and advice. Content is key.

Social media pages include Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Management includes coming up with and scheduling posts for the upcoming month, replying to any commenters, and managing the number of followers on each page. The blog is centered around the side of the healthcare industry that affects physicians, hospitals, and billers. These topics range anywhere from the latest news on the Affordable Care Act (and other healthcare regulations,) medical technology, and the overall state of the individual physician. Research is required for this position. This is a great opportunity to help grow an industry following on social media, as well as gain the experience and portfolio needed for the writing/editing field.
