DescriptionEpic Events is a first of it's kind Obstacle Race designed for families. We are looking for a few marketing students that would find value in helping to grow the social presence of our brand. As we are just starting out, there is a huge opportunity for the right person to take a lead role in developing our social media presence and creating contextual content that will maximize engagement and drive conversions.
ResponsibilitiesWe have a marketing team of three that you will be working with on a daily basis. The director will manage the social media calendar and essentially serve as your editor and publisher. She will give you direction on what type of content you will be responsible for creating, editing, and submitting for approval. We want you to feel ownership and be able to defend the content you create. We are not looking for an intern that is simply a workhorse, but one that wants to own the process from start to finish.
RequirementsMust at least be familiar with:
- All major social media platforms, and which type of content performs best on each.
- Google analytics and Facebook Insights
- Creating and managing a blog
- Photoshop, Indesign and/or online tools for editing and optimizing pictures and video
