DescriptionDQNA is on the lookout for a killer social media intern to join our team for the Spring semester and/or the Summer of 2015. This is a part-time internship position, open to current college students who are looking to supplement their education with a dynamic, real-world experience in a rapidly growing Silicon Beach agency.
DQNA’s Social Media Internship Program provides a hands-on learning experience in a fast-paced digital agency environment. Our program gives students a chance to expand their knowledge by assisting with day-to-day social media and digital marketing initiatives on our clients.
At DQNA, we won’t be assigning you “busy work” - making us copies or getting coffee for us won’t teach you anything. Instead, you'll be put to work right alongside our seasoned team of digital strategists, tackling a variety of marketing goals for clients around the world and learning about social media and digital marketing best practices from some of the best in the business.

ResponsibilitiesWe’re looking for the ambitious, forward-thinker in the room who can brainstorm and implement a variety of innovative brand marketing solutions.
For consideration, applicants must:
Be enrolled in a current 2-year or 4-year institution
Be passionate about social media and digital marketing
Speak and write English fluently
Be personally and/or professionally active on major social media platforms and posses a basic understand of how brands engage online
Have exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Be highly organized and possess an innate ability to multi-task
Be a quick learner and easily adaptable
RequirementsAt the core of the Social Media Internship Program, you will be tasked with assisting our digital strategy team in developing and implementing social media strategies for our clients. This includes managing social media communities, doing community outreach, as well as building relationships with influencers.
You’ll also be assisting with:
Consulting and reaching out to social media influencers or communities to find new opportunities
Providing the day-to-day management of social media accounts including, but not limited to, weekly and monthly reporting and community engagement
Maintaining productive working relationships with all internal departments, communities, influencers, vendors, partners, etc.
Authoring, constructively editing, reviewing, and maintaining overall documentation such as status reports, timelines, strategic plans and presentations, and spreadsheets
Staying up-to-date on new social media tools and best practices and informing the rest of the team.
