DescriptionAs my company is repositioning to become a strong empowerment webinar site for personal growth, financial education, and business growth I am needing help identifying which social media strategies are effective. I need assistance initially with LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. We will need to add YouTube fairly soon. There are newsletters, eBooks, PowerPoint and Streaming projects, marketing campaigns, and so much more. What experience or skills do you have to complement any of the above tasks?
ResponsibilitiesFacebook, as an example, would require posting content. Each week would have a specific topic with attendant articles and photos. All new connections need a Thank You. There will be announcements and events to post requiring follow-up in many cases. We will learn together. I have a few hundred followers on FB but I've just been testing the waters to see what type of content people respond to each day.
LinkedIn has an entire marketing strategy which requires reaching out to targeted members with specific emails, setting up several Groups and posting content each day. I'm months behind with saying Thank You to those connections which have been made. Profile content needs updating. Articles need to be written which you will need to edit and post. LinkedIn has about 1200 connections.
Twitter has been sitting there for 1-3 years (two accounts). I'm guessing there are somewhere between 1200-2000 followers. There have been a lot of changes and this is now the social media site I know least.
There are so many other projects, as mentioned under Description, and I am open to working with more than one Intern if there is one individual who is more marketing focused and understands how to set up campaigns with all that entails. Again, I anticipate this will be learning experience for all of us.
- Basic experience with LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
- Excellent grammar and writing skills
- Be able to take direction and ask questions for clarification
- Be willing to do research if needed regarding any marketing project, software, etc.
- Any other social media insight is a plus for consideration
- Work experience in this area will be given high consideration
IMPORTANT: Because this is a virtual position, you must be able to commit to a work schedule that I can depend on. In other words, your word is your bond.
