DescriptionWholesale craft/jewelry supply business (both brick/mortar and e-commerce) looking for detail oriented and ambitious self starter to help develop and execute general online marketing and social media campaign strategies. This is a great opportunity for any individual with an interest in crafting, jewelry, fashion, and marketing, to develop, execute, and refine your marketing skills via all social media platforms. This position will also encourage you to creatively think about any new marketing channels for promoting a company and brand, especially to a variety of target markets.
BeadKraft has been a long-time established, and family-owned craft and jewelry supply business, located in the heart of NYC's fashion and jewelry district since 1971. We have been an integral part of the ever-changing and evolving creative energy of NYC's Midtown Fashion and Design community over the past 45 years. We are continuing to grow our business and online presence via our website, with the goal of making products available to anyone/anywhere in the world.
Ideal candidate must be eager to learn and help develop marketing and social media strategies that are essential for any growing business or brand in the fashion and craft industry. Candidate must have strong administrative and communication skills, be a self-starter, have understanding of online presence for businesses, and ideally have working knowledge of all social media channels, Adobe Creative Ste, and E-commerce. Additional desired skills include: graphic design/editing, interest in crafts, jewelry-making, and fashion, product photography, branding and product development.
Availability: at least 2-3 days/week. Compensation via stipends and employee discounts (and meals too). Please send copy of Resume, Brief Description of Yourself, and Availability. You may also attach any samples of design-related work if you have.
ResponsibilitiesDuties consist of:
-general office/administrative duties
-assisting with management of ecommerce site
-creating any content (both digital and tangible content) for social media and website
-developing craft projects, tutorials, or sample items to help promote our products or teach craft techniques
-creation, development, and execution of online marketing campaigns and materials
-primary marketing channels include: social media, blog, and email/newsletter marketing
-occasional internet/market/product/fashion and trend research
-occasional sales support and customer service
