DescriptionWe are a Los Angeles-based Activewear company with a highly innovative concept (Lululemon but for plus size)and we are looking for a social media marketing intern. You will have the opportunity to work with industry leaders who influenced brands such as: Tom's Shoes, Sketchers, Flight Club, Planet Blue, Jenny Craig, and other ecommerce successes.
This job is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to learn the ropes at a fast growing start-up company.
Hours are flexible, and we can mostly work around your schedule. Currently the position is virtual and meeting will be done once a week.

ResponsibilitiesDuties Include (but are not limited to):
-Manage social media platforms (Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+)
-Create a long term social media plan and marketing calendar
-Track social media analytics and report results and new ideas
-Create compelling content and get it shared by influencers
-Online research to inform overall campaign strategy
-Collaborate closely on all projects with team
-Customer Service/Support (online, email, and phone). Candidate will need to be comfortable communicating effectively/kindly with customers via all three mediums
RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS / SPECIAL SKILLS / AREAS OF STUDY
- Super organized as multi-tasking is key
- Computer and web savvy
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media platforms
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Forward thinking
-Some knowledge of SEO, PPC, and affiliate marketing but willing to learn more.
