Description

Academic Experiences Abroad (AEA) is a full service, educational study abroad program provider specializing in customized, faculty-led programs. We have been operating since 2005 and have sent more than 2,700 students and faculty abroad on highly specialized, yet affordable, faculty-led programs. We love exploring places off the beaten path and send students to destinations like Vietnam, New Zealand, Uganda, Nicaragua, India, Russia, Paraguay, and many, MANY more! We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to bring a fresh perspective about how we can better spread the word of the exciting work we do.

Responsibilities

Intern Responsibilities:

• Remotely maintains AEA’s social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and our blog; weekly check-in meetings with local AEA manager
• Engage with college students on study abroad programs around the world via social media to share experiences and stories
• Final project of intern’s choice
• Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience studying and/or traveling abroad highly desirable
Experience with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) a must!
Creative skills (design, photography, etc.) a plus
