Goals.com is seeking a Social Media Intern for the Summer, and potentially beyond. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic startup environment, bring energy and passion to everything they do, and will not be afraid to take on projects both big and small.

This internship is a part-time, un-paid opportunity.The program will take place in our Minneapolis headquarters and will include a super collaborative work environment, state-of-the-art resources, endless learning opportunities, and fun outings and perks!

Responsibilities

• Revamp Goals.com's social media presence – running our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more
• Write, review, and customize marketing material for social media platforms, creating audience-appropriate, on-brand messaging
• Organize our rapidly growing database of marketing materials
• Testing out new and potential systems/programs that might benefit the team
• Work with other team members to develop and implement targeted Social Media Strategy
• Track competition, follow trends, and monitor mentions
• Promote website updates, link new content, engage customers, direct customer queries
• Monitor social media groups, trends, tools, and applications and recommend actions/next steps
• Respond to social media inquiries about online activities in a timely and courteous fashion
• Assist with crafting case studies and newsletters

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year BA/BS program
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated interest in Technology, Internet and/or Media/Advertising
• Motivated, inspired, and goal oriented
