Description

I am a certified life coach and career transitions expert. I help women navigate professional and life transitions so they can turn their boring jobs into a career they're passionate about. I'm looking for an eager intern who will help me to extend my brand across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and Instagram. You will learn content management skills and personally be leading and expanding my brand presence online.

You will have an understanding of social media best practices, tools, and strategies. Your goal is to drive growth through the delivery of engaging and shareable content. I am looking to hire someone who can work independently and who's hungry to learn about the PR/Social Media industry. Someone who can provide innovative, strategic and creative ideas. You should also be current with events and news and have strong writing skills. You'll also be responsible for certain Wordpress blog posts and some Mailchimp newsletter campaigns. Please note that this position is for internship credit. You will gain firsthand knowledge and opportunities to build your portfolio.

Responsibilities

Create content posts and social calendars for social media channels
Assist in reporting and analysis of social media data
Monitor social media successes of competitive and relevant brands
You will become an expert in social media best practices and stay abreast of changes to social media platforms used
Create an ongoing strategy on new ways to grow fans and followers across all social channels

Requirements

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Motivation and self-discipline to work in a young startup

Education and Experience:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, advertising, or communications.
At least 1 year of professional/internship related experience.
