Description


We are looking for a motivated social media & marketing intern to help us develop our internet/social media presence. This is a great position for someone who has a strong interest in fashion, not only will you learn about marketing on social platforms you will have the chance to push your own creativity.

The position will primarily be responsible for increasing social presence on various social platforms but other tasks include:

- Handle all aspects of social media accounts
- Support content development for social media accounts & blogs (includes not only creating the content but also research, finding images for posts, etc.)
- Planning targeted marketing campaigns, including social media, PR, email distribution, cross-promotion, and editorial placement
- Maintenance of company's blog
- Blogger Outreach & Collaboration / Deep Influencer Relationship Building

Should be very experienced with social media language (ie. Popular tags), some knowledge with SEO (plus if experienced), tech-savvy, knowledge of Photoshop & Adobe Suite. You will need strong writing skills, know how to use a social media scheduler (ie. Hootsuite) would be preferred. Must be organized and dependable.

Would prefer someone in the New York metro area
Looking for someone who can come in 1 or 2 days a week from 9-5
Must be able to provide resume and links to previous work.

Responsibilities

Working with the Director of sales and marketing as well as the Director of ECommerce you will be writing blog posts, tweeting to and following people. You will also be working with the staff to develop new marketing approaches.

Requirements

You must love to write.
If you have an interest in getting into the fashion industry this is the place for you!
Must be familiar with Twitter, instagram, interest, Facebook, snap chat.
Must speak English as your first and primary language.
