Interns will put into practice and acquire new marketing, social media and communication skills in the Entertainment Industry. Indeed the Edgemar Center for the Arts is a full complex including two theaters, an art gallery, a renowned acting studio (Michelle Danner Acting Studio), an annual International Film festival (Cinema at the Edge) as well as a partner Film Production company (All in films).
Our interns according to their preferences and the current needs get to be involved in one or more of these fields.
Their work encompasses the full marketing spectrum from the development of a press review, banners, posters and promotional videos, to their publication on social medias and optimization on search engines, research of sponsors and event planning.
They will be trained but also will have the opportunity to use the skills they already developed or would like to expend.
At the Edgemar Center for the arts everybody’s opinion is valued and interns as well as employees are encouraged to share their ideas. People work in a casual atmosphere, using the collective space to generate new creative marketing threads.
The skills required are a high proficiency in English both spoken and written, some experience or training in marketing, copy writing and/or communication and a good grasp of social medias (Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Linked In, Pinterest, Instagram, Vine…).
Highly appreciated but not required: fluency in another language, Photoshop, Robly, WordPress and/or html, Final Cut (or other editing software) proficiency.
