Holiday Image LLC is currently looking for a Fabricator/Mechanical Engineer to help manage the process of all phases of design, fabrication and production of Holiday Decor. This includes; initial design concepts, production, fabrication, quality control, maintenance, etc.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but not limited to:
Recommend and determine the best design, fabrication, specifications, materials and engineering requirements for all production jobs.
Determine if and when to utilize external vendors.
Create technical drawings of final designs in CAD to fabricate and install.
Conduct site surveys, measurements, gather site requirements for all production development.
Price projects based on the design developed.
Work with Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Manager to keep up-to-date audit on all resources.
Work with our Sourcing and Purchasing Managers to identify, source and manage appropriate vendors and suppliers with given supply chain. Coordinate deliverables from factories with production schedule.
Oversee and manage all aspects of production in workshop based on design determined.
Create and manage production tasks for each project on-budget, on-time and with the highest level quality.
Work closely with production personnel to review product consistency and quality control.
Monitor production expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
Develop installation instructions for all jobs based on design.
After hours, supervises all installations and removals, requiring out of office time.
RequirementsAbility to design and recommend various raw materials and fabrication of (i.e. wood, plastic, metals, electrical etc).
Experience/strong understanding of budgeting/expense management.
Ability to read detailed blueprints.
Excellent at prioritizing task/organization.
Mechanically inclined with knowledge of power tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solution oriented thinking.
Computer literate with an emphasis on excel and project management software.
CAD experience a plus.
Multitasking in a fast paced environment.
Understanding of Freight & logistics
