Run Your Own On Campus Sports Chapter!
Ever wanted to lead a group of sports journalists and produce content on a national sports site? Apply now to be the Campus Managing Editor (CME) at your school!

The CME is responsible for building an editorial staff; producing timely, relevant and unique content; and promoting the work of your team on campus and online.

This position provides a unique opportunity to be published on a national platform. You’ll be a part of the On Campus Sports Network, a media partner of USA Today Sports Digital Properties and the media's largest community of credentialed college student sports journalists.

OCS student journalists have obtained press credentials to:
• the men’s basketball NCAA tournament
• men’s basketball regular-season games and conference championships
• major bowl games, including the Capital One Bowl
• the NCAA’s elite football programs

**Presently, the CME opportunity is currently open to all undergraduate students who attend a university's main campus at the following conferences: AAC, ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, MAC, Pac-12, and the SEC.**

The Qualities and Responsibilities of a CME
You should have a fundamental understanding of AP Style along with a strong work ethic and passion for college sports. Previous leadership experience is helpful but not required. All majors are welcome to apply.

We’re looking for dependable students who possess leadership skills and communicate well.

You will be responsible for:
• Recruiting: Build a staff of student journalists at your school.
• Editorial: Create new content about your university’s sports teams on a weekly basis.
• Promotion: Publicize your staff’s work.

The position is unpaid, but academic credit is available through a university-approved internship.
