DescriptionLove to Tweet? Spend hours on Facebook? Familiar with newer social media sites? We are looking for two interns to manage our social-media accounts. This position requires more than just logging on to social-media sites each day. You must be super organized and track what you’re doing and where.
Social-media management is one of the emerging fields in computer management across all industries, and this is a great way to get your foot in the door!
This is an unpaid internship, but we will also work with your school for college credit. We are also actively looking for full-time hires, and the internship is the first step in that search.
Responsibilities***NOTE: You must be local to the Las Vegas area.
Monitor and engage visitors on various social-media for several websites.
Automate social-media postings for various websites.
Actively search for and research social-media solutions and providers to help engage website traffic. Training for various courses will be paid for as necessary.
Analyze social-media traffic for several websites and prepare reports as to how to better engage visitors.
Monitor website on-site feedback.

Requirements***NOTE: You must be local to the Las Vegas area.
You must have an ability to follow instructions and be a self-starter. We are an entrepreneurial company with a loose structure. In this position, you will be able to do most of your work from home (or school or wherever you choose) at just about any time you wish. You may be asked to meet briefly once every week or two for updates, but rarely more than that. We realize students have many demands on their time, and we respect that. There will be no looking over your shoulder to “make sure you’re doing something.”
However, if you’re someone who depends on other people to make sure you’ve completed your work, this is not the internship for you.
You must be savvy on basic social-media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, however you will also be expected to monitor and learn about new and emerging social-media sites. You will learn to monitor and manage analytics, measure and track response, and prepare targeted messages.
