Voyage Media, an Entertainment company in Marina Del Rey, seeks an innovative and enthusiastic individual who is interested in learning more about the Entertainment industry and the inner workings of company work flow, client management, and administrative functions. This position is well suited for a self-driven, creative, and out of the box thinker who is familiar with the script development process and can find new technology platforms that can be implemented to save company time and efforts. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager. This is an unpaid internship that can be applied towards school credit. The position requires a minimum of 16 hours per week for a duration of 12-16 weeks. Candidates must be available Thursday mornings from 10am-12pm for the company’s weekly meetings. This position also requires you to bring a personal laptop.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:
• Pairing producers and clients to work on script/treatment development
• Reading coverage and treatments of books for film/TV adaptation
• Assist Operations Manager
• General office/administrative tasks (Filing paperwork, answering phones)
• Participate in weekly team meetings
• General research for events and company outreach

Other Responsibilities (as time permits):
• Assist with quarterly projects
• Assist with company events

Requirements

Must have a personal laptop and a form of transportation.

Skills

Required - Communication, Self Motivated, Creative, Tech Savy, Research Experience
Preferred - Screenplays, Photoshop
