At BRaVe, we’re looking for someone who’s willing to play by the rules. The new rules—not the old ones. The ones where #createdwith trumps #createdby. We want creative minds, problem solvers, and those who share a passion with television, entertainment, and visual technologies. The next wave of innovation and success will be driven by
those who dare to be BRaVe. In the case of our designer, we’re looking someone who believes they are more than just a traditional pixel pusher.

Who are you?
You are a team player that will bring value to any situation you may be thrown into. You understand the creative process and can become an engaging storyteller regardless of medium or platform. You have passion about design and a hunger to learn more about creative works that can drive engagement, develop a brand, and be part of the next wave in storytelling for the technology, media, and entertainment (r)evolution. You are a flexible multi-tasker who communicates naturally, passionately, and collaboratively. You should be open to creative direction, but should also take initiative and innovate when there is none. You have an arsenal of skills in the digital realm. However, you are adept to learn new skills to tackle new works. You’ll be working mostly within digital mediums, but that’s not to say print or any other type of platform will be out of reach! The portfolio you submit should reflect this as well as both high-concept and practical design applications.

-You'll be asked to do a range of creative work from faster, "smaller" pieces like creative assets for our editorial site and micro-content, to "bigger" builds like presentations for client pitches, and developing brand assets.

-You'll have a mastery of industry best practices in various social platform as well as deck presentations for client pitches.

-You'll care about concepting, designing, developing, and putting the team in the best position to present our ideas way more than you do about getting credit for the work.

-You'll have strong typography skills, a love and mastery of Photoshop and Illustrator and feel very comfortable in other Adobe Creative Suite Programs

-You'll have an understanding and hand in our master brand, BRaVe ventures as well as our other sites such as

-You'll become knowledgeable in the entertainment industry including the advisement and investment in entertainment technology and media


The idea candidate has:
-A bachelor's degree (preferably from a design school) and 2-3 years of design and branding experience along with experience developing and creating for digital/social strategies.

-The ability to effectively collaborate with various teams, providing the most useful guidance in an enthusiastic and inspiring manner.

-An understanding of UI/UX and an interest in social media platforms, web design, and their abilities/limitations (design-wise)

-Knowledge of CMSs like Wordpress

-A mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite programs as well as knowledge in Google Docs, Microsoft Office software, and presentation platforms like PowerPoint, Keynote, and Prezi

-Experience working with writers, developers and team focused creative process

-Mild to major illustration skills

-An interest in the entertainment industry
