DescriptionThe Witty Agent was founded by Editor-in-Chief Bridget Kiley and Co-founder Pepper Andus. TWA is an online source for commentary on culture, books, literacy, and politics. TWA writers contribute weekly articles that provide commentary on how these issues are currently affecting society and media.
The objective of TWA is to publish quality journalism about current trends in culture and literature. We do not seek to take a side when it comes to politics or other trending topics, but rather to deliver new and unique critiques of the issues that affect society.
The Editorial Intern will work remotely and part-time. We need someone to both contribute content and assist in some editing of other contributors. Please provide resume and writing samples to be considered.
ResponsibilitiesContribute at least one article per week to one of the various verticals on the website.
Edit other contributors work as assigned.
RequirementsMust be enrolled in an related major such as: English, Journalism, and Communications.
Must demonstrate above average writing and editing skills.
Must be well-read and follow current trends in journalism.
