Description

Vance Publishing, an industry leader in B2B media communications, has an immediate need for a Web Graphic Designer Intern in our Lincolnshire, IL office. Founded in 1937, Vance Publishing is a well-established company with success in the field of business publishing built on a commitment to excellence in meeting the information and marketing needs of our readers and advertisers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
•Assist with creation and execution of digital newsletters using Adobe Dreamweaver
•Collaborate with designers in the creation of various digital assets (web graphics, sales promotions and presentations)
•Modify creative files to fit multiple banner ad sizes
•Assist with Website updates
•Optimize graphics for Social Media
•Utilize stock photo database to gather materials
•Maintaining the visual brand and identity for all Vance products
•May assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

Desired qualifications:
•Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
•Working knowledge of HTML (Experience with Responsive Design a plus)
•Strong design skills (please include link to portfolio)
•Ability to work under tight deadlines
•Print experience a plus
•College student or recent graduate
•Familiar with digital products
•Team player
•Familiarity with web standards and best practices
•Attention to detail
•Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
