Description

LiteWork Events is an independently run company which hosts monthly networking events and special programs for Boston's urban young professionals. Events fall under one of four categories (1) Networking (2) Themed Parties (3) Arts and Culture (4) Professional Development. The Multimedia Assistant will help the Managing Director in photography and/or videography and/or graphic design.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include:

(1) Assist with photography and videography at monthly networking events and other social programs
(2) Conceptualize unique marketing multimedia campaigns in line with the brand's mission to provide "premier social experiences for urban young professionals".
(3) Assist with the creation of event marketing through unique marketing material such as flyer or video clips for social media and web updates

Requirements

Students must have a willingness to learn and may have a broad range of experience, including coursework in photo and video production, event planning, marketing, advertising, graphic design or communications. Involvement in extracurricular activities and leadership within various organizations may be sufficient. Must have an interest in the urban lifestyle, especially involving professionals of color/ minority young adults.
