The internship is in the Media Department, and as an intern you will have the opportunity to assist the Media Planners in preparing advertising campaigns, contacting media vendors and negotiating rates, working on proposals/research projects, and administrative and data entry projects as needed. This internship will allow you to understand the basics in the media buying industry, how media sell advertising spots, and the criteria advertising agencies and clients follow to establish short or long term relationships with vendors.
ResponsibilitiesPreparing advertising campaigns, contacting media vendors and negotiating rates, working on proposals/research projects, and administrative and data entry projects as needed.
RequirementsFor this position, you will be required to commit to a part-time or schedule, but since it is unpaid, there will be flexibility regarding your hours and weekly schedule.
Use of all Microsoft Office software- Word, Power Point, Excel a must.
Must possess excellent verbal and writing skills.
Must be proactive and can follow directions as expected.
