Description

Ask A Bishop (askabishop.com) is a Catholic video production company located in Denver, Colorado. We are looking for enthusiastic, creative, and motivated individuals that can be team players. We are searching for interns that are looking to gain experience in video editing and excel in professional skills. You will have the ability to create your own schedule (30-40 hr wk commitment), living accommodations are possible, and Ask A Bishop will write a letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the internship, as well as provide a reference. You will be close to the beautiful Rockies, and in your spare time, will be able to enjoy outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping, and white water rafting.

Responsibilities

- Assist in all aspects of video and photographic communications and contribute to planning and storyboarding
- Assist in the end-to-end process from storyboarding to logistics to shooting to editing and publishing
- Film video and shoot photographs in studio and field environments
- Use existing original and stock footage to produce new videos
- Contribute to mixing and editing to create polished and engaging videos
- Publish videos primarily to the web and touch-up still photography
-Completion of one short video (2 mins) a week
-Minimum commitment of 10 weeks
-Start date June 1 2015 (flexible)
-30-40 hrs a week

Requirements

- Have the potential to deliver videos and photos that succinctly and clearly tell the desired story
- Ability to deliver videos with cuts, graphics, sound and other elements that convey a quality production value and a level of technical sophistication
- Knowledge of digital videography and photography cameras and equipment
-Must be 19+
-Entry level to two years experience
-Video editing and motion graphics using Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier
-Experience in After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop are a bonus
-Must be proactive, organized, and demonstrate strong communication skills
-Professional resume required
-Must provide video editing and animation samples
