We inspire youth to author their own lives for positive change in the world.
A startup children’s media company, based in Chicago, is seeking two digital media interns to help us out as we build a youth movement for social change and work toward launching our initiatives, including two children's and teen websites and creating related social media campaigns. Some of the values of the movement include inspiring children and teens to do good, helping them turn ideas into action, and empowering them to think of themselves as change-makers.
The internship will be for the course of the fall semester, approximately 10 weeks. The interns will be expected to work an average of 10-15 hrs/week and will be paid a stipend of $500 for the 10 week internship.
Any candidate should be willing to perform organizational/logistical/administrative tasks related to youth digital media and marketing and contribute wherever the team needs help. We are an all-hands-on-deck, collaborative team and we need like-minded individuals to support our team.
This is a remote position. You do not have to be in or near Chicago to apply. However, you should be able to work on US Central time for phone calls, conference call planning meetings, etc., so take your time zone and scheduling flexibility into consideration when applying.
Interested candidates should send a brief (500 words maxiumum) cover letter expressing your qualifications and INTENSE enthusiasm for the position, along with a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
