From the Hip Photo, a forward-thinking, Denver-based wedding and lifestyle photography company, is looking for an intern interested in learning all aspects of the podcasting and internet media field. The intern who fills this position should expect to learn the field from top to bottom and will leave with an improved understanding of the photography, podcasting and small business landscape.

 Work on specialized short-term projects in close coordination with our owners and photographers

 Help record, produce and edit a new company podcast, which is going to be the best wedding industry podcast on the web!

 Shape the podcast content concepts and see it through to development and publication.

 Record and edit at our office, as well as online or over the phone for special guests via Skype/Facetime/etc.

 Archive past content.


Students applying for this internship should be majoring in Videography, Film, Audio, Radio, Internet Media, Media Production or other relevant fields.

Applicants must have strong verbal communication skills and experience with audio production and editing. An understanding of social media and familiarity with the Adobe suite of applications and/or editing software are beneficial. An interest in photography, specifically wedding photography, is a plus.

Most importantly, we are looking for applicants who love hands-on learning, want to be in a fast-paced environment where they can work closely with our entire team, and see what it's like to successfully grow a prestigious small business.
