Description

A creative studio based in Downtown Manhattan is looking for a committed enthusiastic intern to join our team. We are artists, writers, animators, editors, filmmakers and storytellers. We offer a small, alternative structure compared to larger, more traditional competitors who have separate cost allocations for each discipline, and therefore we are more flexible, versatile and cost-effective. With a broad range of clients and expertise, our interns will have the opportunity to be exposed and participate in projects ranging from broadcast commercials, corporate videos, architectural visualizations, branding, and design.

Our Junior Producer/Project manager interns will work directly with Piranha’s Producers, who oversee creative projects from start to finish, ensuring they run smoothly and seamlessly.

Interns will gain exposure and experience

• Managing both small and large scale projects
• Supporting and encouraging team members to maximize productivity
• Ensuring projects stay within timescales and budget
• Structuring projects and devising processes that ensure efficiency
• Engaging with creative teams to understand their progress with tasks
• Liaising with clients and member of the creative team to keep projects running smoothly
• Creating Presentations and Bids for new work

Responsibilities

• Participate in production meetings and creative brainstorms
• Assist Producers and Creative Directors/Partners
• Help put together pitches, treatments and bid presentations
• General Office Management
• Answering Phones, Office Runs

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Self Motivated with a great problem solving ability
• An understanding of both technical and creative processes
• Keen organizational skills
• Confidence to drive a team to get the best results for a project
• Basic computer and general office skills
