DescriptionBeing at the forefront of the rawest and most adrenaline filled events has become a major goal of ADDRENAL. We are now expanding our company to provide a network of a series extreme sports shows. Our media company is moving towards hosting our own sporting and extreme sporting events.
The Public Relations Intern's primary responsibility is to help achieve our public awareness and public outreach goals. Responsibilities will include selling the world (and our company) the story of our product through public/media relations, print, the company website, social media, and event planning/management. This internship will be instrumental for creating, maintaining, and evaluating an integrated communications effort that highlights our brand and extends our reach.We are looking for a driven and motivated individual with a passion for extreme sports and adrenaline filled activities.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily content on digital media platforms including, but not limited to, blogs, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, and YouTube.
Manage scheduling, posting, creative asset development, and all other aspects of running a lively content marketing program.
Assist in the management of day-to-day content strategy activities, including editorial calendar planning, pitching and drafting compelling content, market research, promotions, contests, and relationship management.
Monitor social media influencers, trends, applications, tools, emerging platforms, etc., and make recommendations that are a good fit for our clients and support marketing initiatives.
Become an advocate for the company engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Determine a target market, recommend marketing strategies based on this and help with the development of an overall marketing plan.
Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer reviews (online and in person) and respond accordingly.
Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of marketing campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
Act as primary contact, recruiter, and coordinator for groups and events
• Major in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or other closely related field – degree in progress or completed
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills (AP Style knowledge is a big plus)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic, highly creative setting
• A positive attitude and excitement to learn new skills
• Previous PR/media experience preferred
